Call for price extension from MagePlace allows changing product pricing display on your Magento web shop product pages. With this extension it is possible to hide product prices and “Add to cart” button and show a “Call for price” note instead. The call for price Magento extension is used to encourage customer to contact you to find out the price. This is good option when price is 0 or when the final product price should be discussed with the client in person and depends on his final requirements.

With “Call for price” extension it`s possible to change the message text. That means you can specify any text you want to be displayed on your Magento store pages instead of “Call for price” tag and still attract new customers.

One more available option – you can insert a link (URL address) directing your customers to the contact page or a site with detailed sales contact information. The link is activated when you click “Call for price” button on your Magento webshop page. It`s not necessary for you to specify the link identifier. In case you leave “Call for price” tag without a link, the option is disabled. It`s all very simple!

The “Call for price” tag can be assigned both to a single product and to a product category or subcategory or to whole shop. This feature can be enabled in the product management tool (separate tab in product information) and in the category management tool by the Magento store administrator.

The reason you might need this extension is simple – if you change the price to zero, customer cannot add the product to the cart anymore. But this means losing a leads and sales. Don’t make potential customers fade away. Instead of displaying the 0 price you would prefer to display a text message and tell your customer the price for the product in person.
