Google Connect extension is developed for progressive Magento web shop site owners that want to gain more shoppers using Google+ this time. After the testing period end in September, 2011, Google+ network became available for registration for anyone and within a few weeks the number of users in this new social network achieved overwhelming 40 million users. Google+ is the most fast growing community in the worlds’ history.

With the Google connector users can register or login to Magento shop site with one click using their Google Plus accounts – just as simple as clicking a button once! One step registration proved itself to be convenient and good option with Facebook Connector and Twitter Connector, but we don’t want to limit our customers to the few social networks. User-friendly sites should provide their users with as many options as possible – anything that will make user experience better will add more karma to your site and more revenue for your store.

Google API is still being developed and new features are instantly added. For the first 3 months Google developers added over 100 new features. However some features that we’re used to are still missing. For example our previous connectors have option to post users’ purchases to their stream of activity (wall, timeline). Google Plus is still working on this feature API and therefore we didn’t include this option into the first version Google+ connector for Magneto system. This feature will be added along with Google Plus development

Using our connect to Google extension administrators of Magento web stores can add the “Login via Google” button to the standard Magento login page or to the cart, enabling users continue shopping easily after they made their choice. Admin can also customize the button layout, changing color to the one that will match the design of their web shops the most.

The Google Connect extension takes customer’s information from Google account directly into Magento and creates Magento account for this user. This way customers save time because they don’t need to fill in all the registration fields for your site.

Everyone wants to try new social service from Google and with that service gain new features and possibilities. We developed our Google Connector for Magento because we want our customers to stay together with the progressive users and let them gain the new possibilities together with the new Social Network.

This Google Connect extension for Magento is provided with one year subscription for free support and updates. You do not have to worry if Google will change their API or add more features – we will provide you with most up-to-date version.

The Google Connect supports Magento Community editions 1.4.X, 1.5.X, 1.6.X, 1.7.X; Magento Enterprise editions 1.9.X, 1.10.X, 1.11.X, 1.12.X.

Please note that this extension is provided as is. It is recommended to always backup your installation prior to usage. We can't guarantee proper work of our buttons with any 3-rd party extension installed on the eCommerce Platform. Also you can use our Magento development services to carry out successful integration with third party tools.
