Hide Price extension has been released only several months ago but it has already gained popularity among our customers. Along we have been working on extension functionality, trying to improve it and add new features. And now we are happy to introduce you the updated version of our Hide Price extension for Magento. In release 1.2.0 we’ve changed the extension logic in the ‘User group’ settings to ease the work with extension.

In the previous versions the extension’s logic was: the price was hidden from all unregistered users, and then in case the user is registered it is allowed to apply the option ‘Display by customer group’ and set which groups of the REGISTERED users CAN see the price. For the registered customers it was possible to hide definite product categories.

Unlike the previous versions, the latest update works so: the main role now is played by the ’Display by customer group’ option. In case this option is disabled – the price is hidden from ALL (both guests and registered) users, if the option is enabled – the groups, which can see the price, can be chosen. It is still possible to hide a category from groups, which can see the price.
