Following the same pattern as the Facebook Connector extension we released Twitter connect extension to make login with Twitter account to Magento site easy.

Registration on the Web site is no more needed. User can just click the Twitter login button on the page and authorized through it. A Magento account will be created automatically.

Twitter has very strong security policy and doesn’t reveal user email through API. Therefore if you need user’s email, it can be asked separately when users will access site first time with their new profile. This will add one more step for user, but will collect more user information to populate your database.

You can add the Twitter login button to the standard Magento login page or to cart, enabling users continue shopping easily after they made their choice.

Connecting your Magento-based e-commerce site provides you with one more option to gain new users easily in short time. Enormous amount of Twitter users will join you in few steps, but more to that – they will tell about you to their followers. Please note that this extension is provided as is. It is recommended to always backup your installation prior to usage. We can't guarantee proper work of our Connector with any 3-rd party extension installed on the eCommerce Platform. You can log in on the site with your Twitter account (have to be logged in in Twitter)
In account settings on Magento site you will see Twitter Connect Magento settings to configure your user privacy.
